R Bank was created by a group of experienced businessmen and bankers who want to provide the kind of personal banking relationships and service that they have found in the community banks they have been associated with or have done business with in the past. The majority of this group either resides in the area or has business ties to Round Rock and the surrounding communities. This group believes that it is vital to support the local community and its economy in every way possible. The goal of R Bank is to develop a high touch relationship with its customers while providing high tech solutions to their financial needs.
The businessmen and bankers who started the bank wanted to have a name that reflected the fact that R Bank was created for our community, our customers, our employees, our shareholders and our bankers. We wanted a short distinctive name that would accomplish the goals of this group and be easily recognizable. We substituted the letter "R" for the word "our" and the name was born.
The founding principles for R Bank were to use the majority of its resources in two areas. First, we wanted to have the best bankers available and, secondly, we wanted to provide the most effective banking technology available in order to create high touch, high tech banking environment for our customers. We believe that we have done this with a staff of experienced community bankers who have always focused on developing long term relationships with their customers. The technology that we employ will allow us to provide a state of the art banking experience in a relaxed environment. In doing business this way we can spend more time getting to know our customers and less time processing transactions.
